Meet the Team

Julia — Office Coordinator Julia, our office coordinator, loves getting to know all of our patients and supporting them in their goals for better oral health. She has been working in the dental field since 1998 and enjoys working with Dr. Kim because of the way she cares for her patients. Julia helps our patients with the financial side of dentistry, by researching dental benefit plan coverage, educating patients on their payment options, and scheduling appointments. Julia grew up in Oregon and has lived in Seattle since 1990. When she's away from the office, Julia enjoys knitting, spending time with friends and family, and learning to cook new vegetarian dishes.
Tanya — Dental Hygienist Tanya, our lead dental hygienist, has been working in the field of dentistry since 1994. Her favorite thing about being a dental hygienist is caring for her patients and helping them achieve their oral health goals. Tanya is dedicated to educating her patients about how to maintain good oral health. She cherishes the relationships that she has built with her patients over the years. Originally from Canada, Tanya now lives in Bothell. In her free time she loves travelling, working on home improvement projects, and spending time with her family and friends. Tanya is a very proud aunt!
Robin — Hygienist Robin is our hygienist on Fridays. She has been working in the dental field since 1993. Robin is enthusiastic in sharing her knowledge about oral health. She enjoys helping our patients change for the better toward optimum dental health. In 2005-2006 she was president of the Washington State Dental Hygienists Association. When she's not working, Robin enjoys spending time with her daughters, riding motorcycles and playing with her dogs.
Tara - Lead Dental Assistant Our lead dental assistant, Tara, assists Dr. Kim with dental procedures and enjoys giving each patient personal attention during their appointment. She admires the high quality of dentistry Dr. Kim provides to our patients. Shawn has been working in the dental field since 2000. Her favorite thing about dental assisting is helping each patient have a great dental appointment. Tara is originally from the Philipines, but now resides in Seattle. When she's not working, Tara enjoys spending quality time with her family.
Kimberly - Dental Assistant Kimberly assists Dr. Kim with dental procedures and also helps Julia at the front desk with insurance billing and scheduling. She is inspired by how Dr. Kim is able to improve the quality of her patient's lives by improving their oral health. Kimberly also volunteered at Union Gospel Mission with our past assistant, Frances. Kimberly is a native of Northern California and has been in the Seattle area since 2005. Like Dr. Kim, Kimberly is a University of Washington graduate. Kimberly is applying to dental school soon. John - Dental Assistant John assists Dr. Kim with dental procedures and helps Julia at the front desk with scheduling. John is originally from Oregon, but has called Seattle home since 2005. John graduated from Seattle Pacific University and will be applying to dental school soon. John comes from a family of medical and dental professionals and he wants to become a dentist because he likes the artistry involved in creating healthy smiles.
